A genuine question

SARCASM ALERT. I spent last night trying to learn what had happened to an Israeli friend. And while I was waiting, I had a bad idea: surfing Far Leftist websites and newsletters. This is the result. I wrote this piece at a certain time between 4:00 and 6:30 AM. Sarcasm is my way of coping with idiocy. If you have a problem with that, I urge you to look elsewhere.

Genuine question to my Leftist followers.

The fact that the Israelis are so keen on liberating the hostages is:

a) Another evidence of the Zionists’ demographic obsession. I mean, the hostages are Jewish, and for the Zionists, Jews exist only to replace the native Arabs, right?

b) A symptom of anti-Palestinian fragility? I mean, why insist on having Jewish hostages back rather than focusing on the real issue, the return of the Palestinian 1948 refugees and their descendants, which, come on, everybody knows is the only way to end the conflict: creating a State where Jews are a minority!

c) Blatant cultural insensitivity? Those European settlers… They do not understand the complexity of Muslim culture and insist on asking for liberation of their own!

d) Jewish suprematism? Well, this is obvious, guys: the moment you forget that Judaism is ethic and not an ethnicity, you end up with this tribal request: the liberation of hostages. This runs against Judaism’s universalistic mission. Haven’t you read Martin Buber?

e) Because the Palestinians live under a condition of apartheid. I mean everything about Israel: Bedouin ambassadors, an Arab judge who condemns to prison a Jewish Prime Minister, an Islamist Party member of the Government coalition... everything literally EVERYTHING about Israel screams that Palestinians live under a condition of apartheid…just to be objective and look at the facts as they are!

So, friends, how do you condemn Israel this time? Which mental illness have you diagnosed for this strange and weird phenomenon, a State that wants its citizens back rather than sending them to die sandwiched between explosives, like Palestinian kamikazes?

Come on, raise your voices and tell it again, loud and clear: Israel is wrong and has nothing to do with you, and this is the reason why you talk about its sins literally every day. And night.
